01Habits
Doses, habits, symptoms and measurements — day by day
A grid of days shows what is ticked off and what is still waiting. The reminder arrives at the set minute, and you answer Yes or No straight from the notification.

- Set a reminder on a habit or on a medicine in the Cabinet.
- Measurements with 1–4 parameters, e.g. systolic, diastolic and pulse.
- Trend chart, calendar, comparison of two habits and an observation journal.
- A medicine from the Cabinet goes to Habits straight from its card.
- Group by labels or times of day; hide the items you don't need.
The comparison only lines up the days — it does not assess or suggest anything.
02Cabinet
All medicines in one place, expiry date up front
Scan the code on the box and the public Medicinal Products Register fills in the rest. Colours on the list show at a glance what is running out and what has expired.
- EAN and GS1 Data Matrix scanner: expiry date and batch number straight from the box.
- Description and shelf life after opening read from the leaflet — on the phone.
- No code? The app reads the expiry date and quantity off the box.
- Supply in packages and the date it will last until.
- “What it's for” categories and a filter by form: tablets, drops, syrups…
- Products outside the register too: supplements, medical devices, cosmetics.
- On foldables and tablets, the list and the medicine card sit side by side.
- Export the list to PDF and JSON.
03Your data
Your data stays with you
By default everything is stored only on the phone. Cloud backup and a cabinet shared with your household are switched on only when you want them.
On the phone
The Cabinet and Habits are stored only in the phone's memory by default.
Backup in a .karton file
Encrypted with a recovery code — use it to move your data to a new phone.
Backup on your Google Drive
Optional and automatic, in a hidden app folder. It is not end-to-end encrypted with respect to Google.
Household sync
A shared cabinet on your household's phones, end-to-end encrypted; pairing with a QR code and a password. A free feature in testing.

Frequently asked questions
Is Karton z lekami a medical device?
No. It is an organizer and a journal: it does not diagnose, treat, choose doses, assess measurements or check drug interactions. For health matters, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Where does the medicine data come from?
From the public Medicinal Products Register (RPL). The app is not affiliated with any government institution.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your phone by default. The Google Drive backup and household sync are optional and switched on separately. Details are in the privacy policy (in Polish).
Do I need an account?
No. A Google account is only useful for the optional backup on your Drive.
How much does the app cost?
The test version is free and has no ads.
Is household sync paid?
Household sync is a feature in testing and it is free. It runs through a server in the European Union (Supabase, Ireland); data is encrypted on the phone and the server cannot read it. If server costs outgrow this hobby project, sync may become paid or limited — we will give at least 60 days' notice. Your data always stays on your phones.
Which devices does it work on?
Android phones and tablets, including foldables. There is no iPhone version. The app is in Polish.
How do I install the test version?
Download the APK file to your phone and open it. Android will ask you to allow installing apps from your browser — that is normal for installs from outside the store. A Google Play release is in preparation.
